Culture in Köpenicker Forst (4,5 hours) Cultural use of the forest is older than Humans; Homo Erectus were here much longer than humans. What was everyone doing in the forests for millions of years? For this tour we focus on Köpenicker Forst and look at different experiences of the forest over the last few million years. we will give special attention to mushrooms where possible. Rain is our friend when it comes to mushrooms. We will have a break at the Schmetterlingshorst. We end near Lehrkabinett Teufelsee in the east very near public transport on Müggelheimer Damm.
Mal is a Stiftung Naturschutz Berlin certified nature guide (ZNL). Mal has been guiding for 20 years and is deeply embedded in the nightlife and political communities of Berlin, including producing content for LSVD MILES and numerous queer and feminist orgs visiting or in the city. Upsi (she/her) works as a disabilities assistant-person and helps to facilitate organisation.
