How is nature sexualized? How do researchers do determine the sex of a dinosaur? What does colonialism has to do with botany and gender in plants? Whose knowledge do we (re)present in the museum of Natural History - and what might remain hidden?
The queering Nature tour focusses on a queer historical perspective on nature and science and answers these questions using hippopotamuses, polar bears and Tyrannosaurus rex as examples in the museum's exhibition.
Queering Nature is also available via a digital guide. All you need for this is your own smartphone. The service is web-based, so you don’t need to install an app
