As one of the outstanding open spaces in Berlin's urban area, Tempelhofer Feld has gained international fame in recent years. However, in addition to its recreational value and diverse sports and leisure opportunities, its role as an important natural space is often underrepresented. During our two-hour guided tour, we will explore the special features of this unique ecosystem together and explain the importance of the field as a habitat for various animal and plant species. The program is supplemented by a historical overview that illustrates the importance of large open spaces for urban areas.
